I think the most relevant information for you about me and my services, is that I have lived as an expat in the UK and the US for over a decade, and I know the experience of living away from one’s country, culture, family and friends. And while I am truly grateful for this experience, I had some great challenges and struggles that I had to get through, leading to anxiety, depression and feeling lost. It took me a while to find the right type of help and develop the skills to manage well, but now I know what it takes to get through this.

And I also got to a point where I find great joy in sharing these skills with others. Of course, you have to be in a space where you are willing to make some changes, but I am thrilled to be by your side and support you in this process.

So here are some facts you may also want to know about:

I am an experienced integrative counsellor working in Budapest, with degrees in psychology, counselling and psychotherapy, and have trained in the UK.

I provide individual counselling to people who experience excessive worry, anxious/panicky thoughts, hopelessness, stress, loss, low self-esteem, or difficulties with changes in relationships, home or work life. I also have a specialty in mental health and substance misuse problems (drug/alcohol/porn/gambling) and using Mindfulness based interventions. I work with my clients in both Hungarian and English.
I primarily work with individuals face to face, but also offer Skype/phone counselling where appropriate.

I offer appointments between 8am to 9pm, and usually able to see you for an assessment session in the same or the following week. Sessions last 50 minutes, and cost 10.000Ft; payable in cash or via bank transfer. If you wish to cancel an appointment, I require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

I also offer 8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) programs to individuals and groups as well as for organisations and employers.
